It has been reported that the Chinese company Vivo Mobile was the main sponsor of the Indian Cricket League, which paid an annual amount of Rs 440 crore to the Indian Cricket Board. However, now after the Indo-China tension, the Chinese company has terminated its IPL sponsorship agreement.
The move by the Chinese company will cost the IPL and the Indian Cricket Board billions of rupees. The tournament, which starts next month in the UAE, could face further financial losses.
