Under 19 PSL | IndoPak Cricket | Ramiz Raja Reveals New Plans:
Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board Ramiz Raja has revealed more of his new plans and how he is gonna implement it. The Chairman has revealed that Under-19 PSL would be beginning in October 2022. Ramiz also gave the good news that South Africa, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe had responded positively for this initiative. Moreover the Chairman also plans on speaking to Sri Lanka regarding this idea, which means that Ramiz Raja is quite serious regarding this plan. He also said that PCB is considering the January-February window for Women’s PSL to improve and promote Women’s Cricket in Pakistan.
Speaking about the India-Pakistan Cricketing ties, Ramiz Raja said that he will speak to Saurav Ganguly in the Asian Cricket Council meeting and ask him for a Quadrangular tournament. Chairman PCB believes that future of cricket is in Tri-Series and Quadrangular series. Ramiz Raja also claims that Australia and England Cricket Team are also ready for this idea. Earlier, Chief Executive of Cricket Australia also said that we are ready to be a part of this idea. Now the Asian Cricket Council meeting is what all the fans are waiting for.
Last but not the least, Ramiz Raja also spoke about Pakistan Super League. Ever since becoming the Chairman, Ramiz has stated that he wants big names in PSL and he believes that it is possible by Auction method. Ramiz also claimed that 2 franchises are ready for this new method to be implemented, while others are in talks regarding this.
