Umar Akmal, Iftikhar Ahmed and Many More Stars to be in Action During QeA 21:
The seventh round of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2021 will begin with Sindh topping the leaderboard followed by Central Punjab and Southern Punjab. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northern and Balochistan are the bottom 3 sides so far at the end of round 6. We can expect a massive shakeup in the Points Table of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2021 as some new players have joined the teams. The players that left for the limited overs series against Bangladesh are now back in Pakistan and they will feature in the remainder of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
The first major change is in leadership role of Balochistan. Imran Butt has left the captaincy role of Balochistan in order to focus more on his batting. Wicket-Keeper batsman, Bismillah Khan will now lead Balochistan. To further strenghten their side, Balochistan have got Umar Akmal and Shan Masood in their side as well. Shan Masood is transferred from Sindh as he hadn’t played a single game for Sindh this season in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
Sindh will once again get the services of Shahnawaz Dahani who left the side due to national duty earlier. Opening batsman Sharjeel Khan is also now available for Sindh. All-Rounder Iftikhar Ahmed has also returned to First Class Cricket, he will be back in action for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Northern will have the services of Star Batsman, Haider Ali and pace bowler Haris Rauf. Southern Punjab have added Zeeshan Ashraf to their squad. Central Punjab have forced a change as wicket keeper batsman Junaid Ali was banned by PCB for 3 matches after he claimed a false catch, Ali Shan has brought in as cover now. Moreover Ahmed Bashir is also back in Central Punjab’s squad now.
