Here are the top 5 wicket-takers in the PSL:

#5) Mohammad Nawaz:

Quetta Gladiators’ spinner and a product of the 1st edition of PSL, Mohammad Nawaz comes on number 5 with 50 wickets in total and remains the only spinner in the top 5.

#4) Faheem Ashraf:

Coming in on number 4 with 50 wickets is Islamabad United’s find, Faheem Ashraf. After not being selected in the second edition, Ashraf tore the domestic season apart with his outstanding performance earning him a place in the 3rd edition. Although he has the same amount of wickets as Nawaz, he has played fewer matches earning him the 4th spot.

#3) Mohammad Amir:

Pakistan’s Champions trophy hero Mohammad Amir has a total of 53 wickets. He was picked by Karachi Kings in the first season and since then he has remained loyal to them.

#2) Hasan Ali:

Hasan Ali was picked by Peshawar Zalmi in the first season, but he didn’t perform as expected, but Zalmi put their faith in him and gave him another chance and the least you can say is that he lit the tournament with his magic seam bowling, instantly earning him a place in the national team. Hasan Ali has taken a total of 65 wickets.

#1) Wahab Riaz:

The most senior player out of all on the list, Wahab Riaz is a loyal customer to Peshwar Zalmi. On the team ever since the 1st edition and currently captaining the side, Wahab Riaz has picked an astronomical amount of wickets i.e. 84. Surpassing all the others by a mile, Wahab Riaz is surely a master in his work and a very deserving player.
