Saud Shakeel Named Captain of Pakistan Shaheens for Sri Lanka Tour:

Emerging Middle order batsmen, Saud Shakeel has been named the captain of Pakistan Shaheens for their tour of Sri Lanka. The tour is comprised of 2 four-day games and 3 50-over games. Along with Saud, many other cricketers who have represented Pakistan at the International level. Abdullah Shafique, Haider Ali, Naseem Shah, Usman Salahuddin and Zahid Mahmood are part of this tour.

Chief Selector Muhammad Wasim said that:

“This squad has an average age of under 22 and includes players who have either been part of national squads or are on the verge of breaking into international cricket. The Sri Lanka tour will allow these exceptional cricketers to refine and polish their talents in preparation for international competition.”
