Rizwan Helped Me in My Innings in the 2nd ODI: Agha Salman:

Pakistan sealed the 3 match ODI series against Netherlands by winning the 2nd ODI comprehensively. There were multiple stars for Pakistan in their 7 wicket victory over the Dutch Men. Agha Salman was one of the key contributors in this victory with his Maiden ODI fifty off just 35 balls.

Speaking to the media after the game, Agha Salman said that he enjoyed playing in Netherlands but the wicket was a little bit tricky. “The Track had spungy bounce and that made it hard to play shots”, Salman stated. He credited Mohammad Rizwan for helping him out throughout the innings being a senior.

In reply to another question, Agha said that he will always try to bat according to the situation and do whatever is required at that stage. “Obviously personal milestones are in the mind of a player, but team comes first and I’ll bat according to the team’s need.”

Agha Salman also expressed his delight and feeling of proud upon representing Pakistan at the highest level. He also thanked the crowd who had come from different parts of Europe to support the Pakistan Team. “While fielding close to the boundary ropes, people told us that they have come from countries like Germany, Belgium etc to support us. I would like to thank all of them for their support”, Salman added.
