Quetta Gladiators has suffered:

Anwar Ali, a pacer for the Quetta Gladiators, has tested positive for Covid-19 and will not play in the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six, a day after fellow speedster Naseem Shah was ruled out of the event.

Ali is currently being held in isolation on a separate floor of the hotel in Karachi where all of the players are staying.

Shah had previously been released from isolation in Lahore after violating the protocols for leaving Pakistan by arriving at the designated hotel with a non-compliant RT-PCR test result.

Quetta will be unable to replace both of these players for the remaining matches due to a lack of time, as the team is scheduled to depart for Abu Dhabi tomorrow, and quarantine restrictions.
