The HBL PSL 5 was recently concluded in which Karachi kings won the trophy for the first time in their history after defeating their biggest rivals, Lahore Qalandars. Now just after a week of their PSL victory, the new schedule for the PSL 6 draft has been announced.

The PSL draft is scheduled to take place on December 6. The preparations for the draft of PSL 6 are underway and according to sources most probably the process will be completed at National Stadium (Karachi). The possibility of holding the event in an open-air setting is being discussed because of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. The draft for the sixth edition of the PSL is likely to be held in the second week of December.

This will be the second season of PSL held entirely in Pakistan. It should be noted that the previous drafts have taken place in Dubai, Islamabad, and Lahore but this time a new city (Karachi) will host the event.
