PCB announces squad for South Africa and Zimbabwe tour 2021
Earlier today chief selector Mohammad Wasim revealed players who are going to travel for the upcoming tours of South Africa and Zimbabwe.
The chief selector selected 18 players for the T20 format, 17 for the 50-overs format, and 20 men for the test format.

Surprise Inclusions in T20i:
Asif Ali is yet to perform on the international level and his selection has always was based on his performance for Islamabad United. Now should be the time for him to prove how good of a power hitter he actually is.

It was reported that Sharjeel Khan will still have to wait for his selection as he was told to work on his fitness if he wanted to be in the team but it seems as if his recent performances in the PSL have removed any doubts in the selection committee’s minds.

Mohammad Hasnain has yet again failed to perform in big matches but despite his actions, the chief selector thinks that he needs to be in the team. It should be now or never for Mohammad Hanain to fix his line and length and utilize the fierce pace he has.

Surprise Inclusions in Test Squad:
The selection of Lahore Qalandars’ player Agha Salman is very bizarre as he has never been in the running for the international squad due to his mediocre performances but his talent will be nourished in the camp and we hope he performs the best he can.
The most exciting prospect that emerged from this year’s PSL was Shahnawaz Dahani who had some fierce pace in him. Good line and length secured his place in the Multan Sultans playing Xi and now in the Pakistani squad surely means he’s one to look out for.
Left-hander Imran Butt failed miserably in the last test series vs South Africa yet he is selected once more to showcase his talent and prove his worth to the whole country.
