NZ vs PAK Day 2: Williamson scores 100!
The NewZealand openers had a solid start to their batting as the ball wasn’t having much movement on a green pitch for Pakistan. NewZealand managed to put up a total of 286 trialing by just 11 runs at the end of Day 2.
NewZealand dominate
New Zealand lost only three wickets on Day 2 despite a tough pitch for batting. They had their work cut out but gritty knocks from Williamson and Henry Nicholls helped NewZealand get into a good position.
Williamson scores 100!
Considering the genius that Kane Williamson is and the classy batsman he is, there was little doubt he wasn’t gonna go big even on this pitch. And Williamson doesn’t disappoint. He finished of 112 not out on day 2 from 175 deliveries including 16 fours. At a strike rate of 64.
Henry Nichols played a helping hand with Williamson and remained 89 not out from 186 deliveries, including 8 fours. He scored runs on a strike rate of 47.85.

Faheem Ashraf got the breakthrough for Pakistan with Tom Blundell’s wicket and shared One wicket each with Shaheen who got Latham and Muhammad Abbas who got Ross Taylor’s big wicket.
