Nobody can take place of Dean Jones, says Wasim Akram

Wasim Akram to serve as Head Coach of Karachi Kings in playoffs of PSL V. However, no one can replace Dean Jones, he said.

Former Pakistani pacer and swing master, Wasim Akram while talking on YouTube live with CricsLab, said that no coach in the world can replace Dean Jones however Akram will be helping the respective franchise in the remaining PSL playoffs later this month.

Head Coach of Karachi Kings, one of the franchises of Pakistan Super League, had shockingly died earlier this year due to a cardiac attack that left everyone mourn.

Wasim Akram in a live video conference with a famous cricket website, Cricslab, replied on asking that he will serve as a head coach, which does not mean that he is going to replace Dean Jones. No one in the world can replace Dean Jones as he was so passionate and a great ambassador of Pakistani culture, he was so much into Pakistan cricket and contributed to the development of cricket in Pakistan.

Wasim Akram said that he will give his services for the franchise however the seat of Dean Jones will still be kept vacant with his name beside him.

he further added that Deano was his best buddy and will be missed forever. his contributions to Pakistan cricket were irrefutable and his character is irreplaceable. However, Wasim will be fulfilling the need for head coach for KK for the remaining playoff matches in PSL V which are going to be held in mid of November 2020.

Sultan of Swing further added that he is quite hopeful for Karachi Kings to win playoffs and final as the team is in form and all players have been giving good performances in international matches.
