New Zealand Did Something Unforgivable: Shahid Afridi Lashes Out:
Former Pakistani Captain , Shahid Afridi has reacted to New Zealand’s tour cancellation recently. Shahid Afridi has stated that other nations should not follow the league of India. Shahid Afridi expressed his disappointment on New Zealand cancelling the tour and ridiculed all the threat claims.
Shahid Afridi clearly stated that if there was any threat, New Zealand should have shared it with the PCB. The Veteran termed New Zealand calling off the tour as ‘Wrong’ and ‘Unforgivable’. Afridi also criticised India saying that we all know who is behind this. These bogus emails shouldn’t be considered true, Afridi added. Shahid Afridi also said that there is no sense in boycotting facing New Zealand in the World T20 2021. “We should silence our critics by our performances”, Shahid Afridi stated.
The All Rounder also claimed that as per his sources, there will be some necessary changes to the World T20 Squad of Pakistan prior to the mega event. Afridi had earlier revealed that he was surprised on the selection of 2/3 players, but he didn’t take anyone’s name.
Afridi also reacted on Misbah-Ul-Haq and Waqar Younis’s resignation. Afridi said that if it was a decision taken solely by the former coaches themselves, then they should have waited till the World T20. He also said that Philander and Hayden won’t create much difference due to shortage of time.

Upon being asked on whether Shahid Afridi would coach youngsters, he replied that it would be an honour for him to coach the youngsters. In fact Shahid Afridi said that working with PCB in any capacity would be a big honour for him.
