Mohammad Rizwan Applauds Pujara’s Concentration:
Mohammad Rizwan and Cheteshwar Pujara are currently playing the County Championship 2022 for the same team (Sussex). The Indo-Pak duo enjoyed a 154-run partnership against Durham earlier this month, and Sussex has also garnered a lot of favorable attention on social media.
In a recent media interaction, Mohammad Rizwan expressed his desire to have the attention and concentration levels of his County teammate Cheteshwar Pujara. When it comes to batting with constant focus, Rizwan admires Pakistan’s Younis Khan and Fawad Alam, but he has now added Pujara to the list. “In terms of sheer attention and focus, Pujara is second on my list, while Fawad Alam is third. These three players are among my favorites”, Rizwan stated.
Rizwan also revealed that when he got out cheaply in the earlier games, he took advise from Cheteshwar Pujara. ” I had a chat with him after getting out early. He told me a few things and one of them was being close to the ball. And as everyone knows, we’ve been playing white-ball cricket regularly for the past few years and playing it a little bit away from our bodies”, Rizwan added.

Mohammad Rizwan also clarified that there are no issues whatsoever in playing together as people often talk about this Indo-Pak rivalry. Rizwan also added that he enjoys a friendly connection with Pujara as he teases him a lot.
