Mohammad Hasnain Ruled Out of PSL 7:
Mohammad Hasnain was reported for an illegal bowling action during Big Bash League 2021-22. Hasnain gave his bowling action Test in the biomechanics lab and started to bowl again in PSL till the report came. Yesterday, Mohammad Hasnain was left out of the Quetta Gladiators lineup and speculation had started that whether his action has been found illegal. As of today, PCB has made it official that Mohammad Hasnain’s bowling action report came out negative. As of now, he is suspended from bowling in International Cricket.
Upon Pakistan Cricket Board’s advice, Hasnain will no longer participate in the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League. Instead, he will utilise this time to modify his action as per the rules with a consultant appointed by the Pakistan Cricket Board. PCB officials also said that Hasnain is their future and they believe that this issue could be solved.
As per the detailed report, Hasnain’s arm extended the 15 degree limit while bowling the full length bowl, the slower bouncer, the bouncer and good length delivery. Hasnain will remain suspended from bowling until he clears his action once again.
