Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir has returned for Gloucestershire in some fashion. Amir was the part of Gloucestershire during County Championship 2022 but he got injured soon. After recovering, he joined the side again for Vitality Blast 2022. In Gloucestershire’s encounter against Kent, Amir proved to be the MVP with the ball for Gloucestershire.
Mohammad Amir took 2/30 in his 4 overs as Gloucestershire won a close encounter against Kent by 5 runs. 33 were required in the final 2 overs when Amir had the responsibility of bowling the 19th over. He did concede 14 runs in that over, but he dismissed Alex Blake who scored 36(24). Blake’s wicket was indeed the turning point of the game and Amir was the one who took his wicket.
