Limited Spectators would likely be at PSL 6:

After the approval by National Command Operation Centre (NCOC), limited numbers of fans are allowed in the Stadium (to watch Pakistan Super League Sixth Edition) due to this pandemic.

A meeting was held this Monday regarding this matter between Wasim Khan (PCB Chief Executive Officer) and NCOC officials and the final decision from NCOC will be taken on 4 Feb (Thursday).

“We had a brief meeting with NCOC today and expect a reply on our request on Thursday,” PCB’s CEO Wasim Khan told this correspondent.

In the meeting, PCB officials assured NCOC that it will take steps for public health and confirm all safety measures. They also briefed that Covid-19 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will be strictly followed for the safety of everyone involved.

Sources have also confirmed that PCB has sought permission to have spectators from around 20 to 40 percent of the stadium’s total capacity in Lahore and Karachi.

PSL 6 will be started with a clash between Karachi Kings (current champion) against Quetta Gladiators on 20th Feb 2021.
