Karachi Beats Multan in Super Over PSL 2020 – KK in to Finals
After 4 years of failure in PSL, Karachi Kings have finally qualified to a final thanks to the super over.
Multan Sultans came to bat first and scored which looked a small target of 142.
The only good batting performances from Multan Sultans were from Ravi Bopara and Sohail Tanvir.
Karachi lost its first wicket pretty quickly when Sharjeel Khan was dismissed by Sohail Tanvir. Babar Azam as usual showed his class and was dismissed behind the stumps and departed with a fabulous score of 65.
Now better than ever did Karachi seemed in the final when Multan Sultans decided otherwise and took wickets in quick succession. Imad Wasim was the only hope left for the Kings. After hitting a 4 on the last ball Captain Imad Wasim took the game to a super over

Karachi kings came to bat first and trusted Sharjeel and Shane Rutherford for the task. Sharjeel failed to score again while, Rutherford took his opportunity and helped Karachi to a score of 13.
Multan sent Rilee Rossouw and Ravi Bopara to chase the target. Mohammad Amir was chosen to bowl the super over. After just giving 3 runs on three balls, Amir bowled 2 consecutive wide deliveries and took the pressure of Multan’s batsmen.
This didn’t changed a thing and Amir bowled even better and gave away 4 runs in the last 3 balls and sealed their place in final for the first time in their history.
Babar Azam won the man of the match award and dedicated this victory to their late coach Dean Jones.
