Kagiso Rabada to Miss ODI series:
South African Right-arm fast bowler Kagiso Rabada to Miss ODI series against England due to groin injury. The 25-year-old has sustained a right adductor strain, one that also kept him out of the dead-rubber final T20I at Newlands.
A statement from Cricket South Africa said Rabada had suffered a right hip strain which would take about three weeks to heal. He would be released from the South African team’s bio-secure ‘bubble’ to begin rehabilitation with a view to being fit for a Test series against Sri Lanka starting on December 26.
Rabada is coming off a successful season of IPL after winning a Purple cap by taking 30 wickets in 17 games.
