Hafeez, Imad Take a Dig at New Zealand’s ‘ Security Issues ‘ After the Win:

Pakistan continued their dominance in the ICC World T20 2021 with their second consecutive win in the event. Pakistan defeated New Zealand in a tense match. Pakistan restricted the Kiwis to just 134, however they chased it with just 8 balls to spare. Pakistan did find themselves in trouble after their top order failed, but thanks to Shoaib Malik and Asif Ali, Pakistan sailed through. After this win Pakistan went at the top of the table of their group. With 3 more matches left, 2 of them being against associate nations, chances of Pakistan playing the Semi Final are quite bright.

After the win, All Rounders, Mohammad Hafeez and Imad Wasim took a dig at the Kiwi Cricket Team. New Zealand abandoned Pakistan tour due to security concerns prior to the World T20 2021. Pakistan’s practice before the mega event was daunted through this. Fans built quite a rivalry against the Kiwis as their decision to abandon the tour hurt them and the fans wanted to defeat New Zealand convincingly. After the match, Mohammad Hafeez made the following tweet:

Hafeez intentionally thanked the security forces to target the fake security threat excuse that New Zealand made before abandoning the Pakistan tour. Similarly, after Hafeez, Imad Wasim tweeted the following:

Imad also used the word SECURE in particular to target that excuse of New Zealand. Fans also took a dig at the Kiwi Team saying that the threat wasn’t of security, the threat was of Asif Ali and Haris Rauf. Well the beauty of the game lies in banters, and Pakistani fans were absolutely delighted after this win. They kept on taking shots at New Zealand Cricket, and well New Zealand would just think twice before abandoning any other tour in the future.
