England Cricket Team to Have a new Captain for Pakistan Tour

England Cricket Team to Have a new Captain for Pakistan Tour:

All-Rounder Moeen Ali will be the likely captain of England Cricket Team for their tour of Pakistan starting from 20th September 2021. Moeen Ali is currently the Vice-captain of England, however as Jos Buttler is injured, it is likely that Moeen will be seen as captain now.

Jos Buttler has a calf injury currently. Moreover, Ben Stokes and Jonny Bairstow are also likely to be rested as England are due to arrive in Pakistan on 14th September 2022, while the final Test Match between South Africa and England is supposed to end on September 12th.

Liam Livingstone is another big name who is currently injured and will most probably be out of the Pakistan tour. It is expected that players who have featured previously in the Pakistan Super League will be given a chance in this tour as England is currently dealing with a lot of injury issues and with the T20 World Cup approaching soon, they will not add any half-fit player.

The 7 Match T20I Series kicksoff at Karachi on 20th September 2022. The first 4 matches of the series will be played at National Stadium Karachi while the remaining 3 matches will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
