ECB confirmed tour to Pakistan for T20 series in 2021

On November 18th, England Cricket Board ECB confirmed tour to Pakistan for two days T20 series in October 2021.

The efforts of Pakistan Cricket Board and the enthusiasm of cricket lovers of Pakistan have ensued the return of International cricket in Pakistan after plenty of years. England is one of the biggest cricketing team of the world, also known as the home of cricket, has officially announced to tour Pakistan next year in October to play two T20Is on 14th and 15th at the historical National Stadium Karachi.

Wasim Khan, the CEO of PCB, talked in a recent press conference that ECB has officially announced this tour after witnessing the success of PSL. The English players who were part of PSL have conversed with their board positive things about Pakistan, about the security, the hospitality, the love they received from Pakistani fans, which is the success of Pakistan Super League.

Organizing the whole tournament in different cities of Pakistan, hosting SriLanka, Bangladesh, and Zimbabwe for T20I, Test, and ODI series, and most especially the way Pakistani people welcomed foreign players has ensured the country to be safe and full of entertainment which ultimately made us capable to host big teams like England. This shows that the efforts we put to bring International cricket back didn’t go in vain.

Pakistan will be hosting England after 16 years. Hopefully, the covid situation will get better by then and cricket lovers will be able to witness their favorite players live at NSK which certainly is going to be jam-packed to welcome the English players.
