Mumbai Lost their captain Rohit Sharma on 12 runs fans were expecting a good innings from Sharma but he got out early in the powerplay.
Later we saw a short partnership between African wicket keeper deKock and Surya kumar yadav, Quinton Dekock scored 33 runs on 20 balls with 5 fours and got out by sam curran.

Saurabh tiwary was the highest scorer for MI in the first match against csk he scored 42 runs on 31 balls.
Csk bowling
Csk after electing to bowl first they got good early start by taking Rohit sharma wicket csk bowlers bowled decently throughout the innings.
Csk Batting :
Csk lost their two early wickets of murali vijay and shane watson but layer we saw a tremendous partnership between Faf Du plesis and Ambati rayudu they both took csk till end in this run chase, Ambati Rayudu scored 72 runs on 48 balls while Faf scored 58 runs on 44 balls.
MI Bowling :
Mi bowlers started very well took two early wickets but later they look bit of against Rayudu and faf somehow they were back in the game in last half of the game but things were taken from them by Faf du plesis and sam curran short little inning.
Sam Curran Factor
The English young all rounder Sam curran was the factor in the first match against mi he bowled brilliantly economically and took catches as well and in batting scored valuable 18 runs.
