On the 5th day of the Quad-E-Azam trophy final, Hasan Ali and Ahmed Safi of Central Punjab were trying to save their team from losing the final and defend their title. All was going well for the pair when Ahmed Safi played an irresponsible shot on a bouncer and lost his wicket.

When the last player entered the game, Central Punjab still required 36 runs to get over the line.
Bazid Khan, who was commentating the game at that moment took a dig at the Indian team who were all out on the lowest total in test matches against Australia.
He said “Sometimes you need a whole unit to make this total”
Although he didn’t take any names or anything, his co-commentator got the reference and laughed it off.

The match ended in a dramatic fashion when Waqas Maqsood tried to hit the winning shot but ended up giving a straight catch to the fielder which resulted in a tie. Both teams shared the trophy.
