Babar Azam to miss second test.
It’s a bad news for all the Pakistan cricket fans as Pakistan cricket team remains Babar less for the second test as-well. Babar will return home without having to play a single match during this tour.
The PCB reported that Babar Azam is still recovering from the fracture in his thumb so without risking his recovering and staying on the safe side Babar will not take part in the second test.
Rizwan to lead the side
In the absence of Babar Azam Muhammad Rizwan will lead the Pakistan team in the second test as-well. Although Babar is crucial part of the team Rizwan is confident his team will do well.
“We can still win…”
“Babar’s absence is a big blow as he is a key player but the series is still not over for us and we can still win this test and level the series if we play well and to our strength,” Rizwan who got fighting half centuries in both innings in the first test said.
Despite having a net session prior to the second test Babar wasn’t available;
“Babar is still not confident 100 percent that he is fit for the test match and I know he will never take a chance unless he is completely sure he has full match fitness,” Rizwan said on the eve of the match.
