Babar Azam reacts angrily to Pakistan’s Squad selection:

According to sources, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam is among those who are unhappy with the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) roster selection for the 2017 T20 World Cup.

According to sources, the captain was not informed of the team’s selection for the mega-event on Tuesday.
Furthermore, it has been discovered that he is apparently dissatisfied with the inclusion of Azam Khan and Sohaib Maqsood, who were added by the head selector following discussions with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman-in-waiting Ramiz Raja.

According to insiders, the power-hitter wanted to put Fakhar Zaman and Faheem Ashraf in the lineup, and he approached Raja to discuss the decision, but his proposals fell on deaf ears.

According to sources, the selection of the 15-man squad conveyed a message to Babar that he should focus exclusively on playing rather than player selection.

Babar isn’t the only one who is apparently disappointed with the World Cup roster. Former captain Misbah-ul-Haq, who quit as head coach on Monday, was similarly doubtful about Azam Khan’s appointment.
