Babar Azam and Imam-Ul-Haq excluded from 1st test match vs New Zealand- Mohammad Rizwan appointed as captain
Captain of all three formats Babar Azam and opener Imam-ul-haq are excluded from the first test match that will take place on December 26 in Mount Maunganui between Pakistan and New Zealand.Both Babar Azam and Imam Ul Haq sustained thumb injury and are doubtful to play in the Test match.
After examining the situation, head coach Misbah Ul Haq announced that the responsibility of captaincy will be given to Wicket Keeper Mohammad Rizwan until Babar Azam gets fully fit.
Pakistan have already lost 2 T20s and will try to avoid a clean sweep against the kiwis. The last T20 international will be played tomorrow.
