Abdullah Shafique Goes to Balochistan | NT20 Cup Transfer Updates:

The transfer window was open for the National T20 Cup 2021. After 8 games of the tournament, transfer window was opened and only those players who haven’t featured in the tournament before could be traded between the teams. Following are the changes that happened during this transfer window

Abdullah Shafique (Central Punjab), Mohammad Mohsin (not in any squad), and Sohail Akhtar (Northern) have been sent to Balochistan.

Abdullah, who averages 39.90, began his T20 career with a century in the 2020 edition of the National T20. With a strike rate of above 130, the right-handed batsman has amassed 399 runs. Mohammad Mohsin has been added as cover for Yasir Shah. Yasir has a hairline fracture and will be out of the tournament for at least 10 days.

Sameen Gul is heading to Central Punjab (from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa)

Hasan Ali was seen limping during the last game of Central Punjab. Hasan was seriously hurt during batting when his foot was struck by the ball. It is expected that Hasan would rest for some days and hence Sameen Gul could be his backup.

Usama Mir (Not in any Squad) goes to the Southern Punjab.

Southern Punjab already have two spinners, Hassan Khan and Faisal Akram. However both of them are left arm spinners. Usama Mir is the only specialist leg spinner in the side now.
