Around 42 talented players from Pakistan have registered themselves for the inaugural draft of Big Bash League. Big Bash League introduced the draft system in their 12th season. There have been some stellar nominations in the draft from almost every cricket playing nation.
42 Pakistani cricketers have nominated themselves for Big Bash League 12 draft. This also includes some of the veterans like Mohammad Hafeez, Wahab Riaz, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Kamran Akmal and Umar Akmal. The one that stands out from Pakistan is Shadab Khan. Out of these 42 star players, only Shadab Khan is the one who is made it to the platinum category. Leg spinners have a great demand in T20I Cricket, and with his improved batting skills now, Shadab Khan is an ideal T20 player.
The 23-Year old Shadab Khan has already featured in 200 T20 games in his career. He has taken 226 wickets. Apart from his skillful leg spin bowling, Shadab has scored 1829 runs at a strike rate of 136. He has 6 half centuries and a high score of 91 with the bat. Its safe to say that he’s more than handy with the bat. Not to forget, he is a sensational gun fielder too. Shadab’s latest batting heroics were on display in the 1st ODI against Netherlands, where he scored 48(28)* to help his team score 300+.
